Terms of Service

1. About these terms

These terms are an agreement between XACC TECH PTE. LTD. (UEN 202645032E, “we”, “us”) and the firm that signs up for xacc (“you”), covering everyone your firm lets use it. By signing up or using xacc you accept them. If you sign up for a firm, you confirm you may accept them on its behalf.

2. The service

xacc is online bookkeeping software: bank statements, sales, purchases, journals, GST and financial reports for the entities your firm keeps books for. We may improve, change or remove features over time, and will give notice of changes that significantly reduce what you can do.

3. Your account and your people

• Your firm's admins decide who can sign in, their roles and which entities they can open.
• Keep passwords secret and tell us at once if you think an account has been misused.
• You are responsible for what happens under your firm's accounts.

4. Your data

The books data your firm puts into xacc remains yours (or your clients'). You give us permission to store, process and back it up only as needed to provide the service, and you confirm you are allowed to put it into xacc — including any personal data, for which you are responsible under the PDPA. You can export your reports and delete users, entities or your whole firm at any time.

5. Professional responsibility

xacc is a tool. It does not give accounting, tax or legal advice, and it does not file anything with IRAS, ACRA or CPF on your behalf. You are responsible for the accuracy of your records and for checking figures before relying on them or filing them.

6. Acceptable use

Don't use xacc to break the law, and don't:

• try to reach data or accounts you haven't been given access to;
• disrupt, overload or probe the service for weaknesses without our written permission;
• upload malicious files, or resell or copy the service.

7. Fees

xacc is free to use for now. Before paid plans start we will publish the prices and give account holders at least 30 days' notice; you can close your account before then without charge.

8. Availability

We work to keep xacc running and your data backed up, but we don't promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Updates can cause short outages, usually about a minute.

9. Suspension and closing

You may close your firm's account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts the service or other users at risk, or where the law requires, and will tell you why unless we can't lawfully do so. Save copies of any records you must keep before closing — deleted data can't be recovered.

10. Liability

The service is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profits, revenue or data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees your firm paid us in the 12 months before the claim (or S$100 while xacc is free). Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version; for important changes we will give at least 14 days' notice by email or in the app. Using xacc after a change means you accept it.

12. Law and contact
